A marketer with the mind of an engineer, Russ brings a data-crunching analytical mind to the task of extending our clients’ marketing efforts through all touchpoints. As co-founder of CMG Partners (CMGP), Russ works to help our clients see the opportunities behind the numbers, transforming the approach companies take in engaging their customers in a way that will get meaningful results.

Prior to founding CMGP, Russ worked with a variety of telecommunications and Internet companies to bring new products and services to market. In that time he focused on the development and analysis of market behavior models, as well as a variety of customer retention and win-back programs. In addition to his marketing experience, Russ had a previous career as an engineer developing high-speed computer systems from which he holds multiple patents in the field of vision and control systems.

Russ holds a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Drexel University and an M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to his work at CMGP, Russ serves on the board of directors for Sentrana, the Full Frame Film Festival and the Center for Child & Family Health of North Carolina.
