Mark ChinnAssociate PartnerMark works with clients to drive incremental value through marketing strategy and program execution. With over twelve years of experience as a manager, executive, and consultant, he has held leadership positions and supported clients in wireless firms and integrated cable and telecom companies, from challenger brands to industry leaders. Mark’s career focus is concentrated in high-growth businesses including prepaid wireless, push-to-talk, wireless data and mobile broadband services, and home networking and PC support. As an associate partner at CMG Partners (CMGP) and as an independent consultant prior to joining CMGP, Mark has supported companies including Virgin Media’s mobile group, Comcast, and a start-up in the wholesale wireless space. In each of these engagements, he works directly with senior managers to ensure strategic alignment with marketing tactics and other activities within their businesses. Prior to his independent consulting practice, Mark was vice president of marketing and product development at RCN, one of the first U.S. triple play providers of video, voice, and data. At RCN Mark managed all marketing, product development, pricing, and online functions. Under Mark’s leadership, RCN’s average revenue per customer led all U.S. cable companies, and the residential subscriber base grew even as new competitors like Verizon launched video services. Before joining RCN, Mark held several positions in operations and marketing at Nextel Communications including senior director of phone pricing and planning, where he directed the company’s phone pricing and strategy. Mark earned a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary’s Mason School of Business. Specialties:
