Mark Chinn joins CMGP as Associate Partner8/9/2011CMG Partners has added Mark Chinn, a cable, wireless, and telecom veteran of nearly 20 years to its leadership team as Associate Partner. In this role, Mark will lead client engagements and create new opportunities for business development for the strategic marketing consulting firm. Before joining the CMGP team, Mark served as a senior-level contractor with the firm starting in early 2010, leading engagements with a Fortune 100 client that have helped expand the company's growth into new markets. "Mark's contributions to CMG Partners have been astounding. His great work has translated into high levels of trust and respect from clients and sponsors," said Russ Lange, Co-Founder and Partner of CMG Partners. Before joining CMG Partners, Mark worked as an independent consultant, where his clients included a start-up in the wireless industry and a leading cable and wireless provider in the UK. Prior to these engagements, he was the Vice President of Marketing for RCN, a cable operator providing triple play services in six large US markets. In his time with RCN, he managed all Marketing, Product Development, Pricing, and Online functions. Under Mark's leadership, RCN's average revenue per customer led all US cable companies and the residential subscriber base grew even as new competitors like Verizon launched video services. Before his time with RCN, Mark was a Senior Director of Pricing and Planning at Nextel Communications Inc. "Mark's deep experience in the wireless and telecom space further bolsters our firm's expertise in this sector. Mark is an MBA graduate from the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary and received his BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
