The Role

We're searching for a marketer with forward-looking acumen and insight related to technology products and services to support CMGP in strengthening our capabilities to help clients better activate and accelerate their growth initiatives.

You'll be given the opportunity to leverage your subject matter knowledge to support client engagements in a number of ways:
  • Marketing: Support and drive strategy formulation through work such as assessing market opportunities, providing branding and marketing implications, and recommending potential courses of action; crafting positioning statements to generate demand for new products and services or for new customer segments; developing structured thinking and frameworks to help clients assess strategic marketing decisions
  • Project management: Manage discrete workstreams, develop client deliverables, organize aspects of project development
  • Client management: Deliver findings to clients, coordinate client interactions, support account leads and engagement managers to strengthen and grow client relationships
The manager will also support firm initiatives such as developing intellectual capital and participating in business development efforts.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates possess a BS or BA along with 6-8 years of previous practical experience in product management, product marketing, or marketing strategy of technology products and services, preferably for a media, telecommunications, or technology company:
  • Passionate about technology. Proactively follows forward looking trends and has the ability to identify white spaces that may not exist today.
  • Broader understanding and implications of market dynamics such as digital convergence, mobile capabilities, and rapid product cycles impacting media, telecommunications and related technology sectors, both among consumers and businesses.
  • Experience with developing product features and attributes that can be translated into benefits and uniquely positioned among customers.
Some consulting experience is preferred. An MBA is also preferred for Manager candidates.

  • Mastery of software tools such as PowerPoint and Excel, among others
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required, up to 80% of the time, by our clients
